Elisabeth has been an educator in different capacities all her life, with a passion for sharing conversations and experiences in which all parties are learning and growing together. Her second passion is global interconnectivity, studying and teaching global history and wisdom traditions.
Elisabeth holds a BS from Harvard University in Russian and Soviet Studies and an MA in Teaching from Columbia University. She taught world history to high school students for fourteen years at The Horace Mann School in New York City, and worked on a national level to promote the globalization of history curriculum in secondary schools.
She has also worked as a documentary filmmaker, producing and directing short political and social-issue videos, as well as a feature-length film about creativity in a theater context.
Among other eclectic interests, Elisabeth is a student of meditation, an avid reader, and enjoys vegan cooking and volunteer work.
