One of the most empowering things we can do when faced with circumstances that are beyond our control is to shift the way we look at the situation. This is not to say that we overlook or minimize our concerns – our emotions are what they are. However, we can reduce or alleviate any suffering we may be experiencing, as a result of fear, by tuning within and becoming the observer of our reactions and emotions.
